Privacy Policy — Karuna Jyotish App

The Karuna Jyotish App (the “App”) is designed for Vedic astrology and panchanga calculations. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the App.

What data we collect

The App does not require registration and does not collect personal data on our servers. We do not request or receive your name, phone number, or address, and we do not create user accounts. We have no servers to which your data would be transmitted.

Birth data and name

For astrological calculations, you may enter a birth date, time, and place, and when creating a PDF, a name. This information is processed and stored exclusively on your device. It is used only for calculations and for preparing documents within the App, is never transmitted anywhere, and is not accessible to us.

Creating PDFs

PDF documents are generated locally, on your device. Any further actions with the finished file (saving, sending, sharing with others) are performed only by you, using your device’s own tools. The App does not send these files to us or to third parties.

Data stored on the device

All information you enter (birth data, selected city, display settings) is stored only locally, in the device’s memory. It is deleted along with the App if you uninstall it.

Subscriptions and purchases

Subscription purchases are processed by the app store you use (the App Store on Apple devices or Google Play on Android devices). We do not receive or store your payment card details — they are processed by the respective store in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Subscription management

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to process subscriptions. To determine whether a subscription is active, RevenueCat processes an anonymous purchase identifier and subscription status information received from the App Store or Google Play. This identifier is not linked to your name, birth data, email, or other personal data. Learn more: RevenueCat’s privacy policy — revenuecat.com/privacy.

Analytics and advertising

The App does not use third-party analytics services and does not display advertising.

Children

The App is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at this address.
